5K run with all proceeds going to support the Imagination Library Program in Fulton County. The race will take place at Homecoming Park and go through the Indian Trails Woods. Post race refreshments will be provided. Registration fee is $25.

Grab your girlfriends and get ready to round-up rhinestones at this Dolly Parton inspired fundraising event. The evening will feature table competitions, prizes, games, music, food and drinks. Prepare to compete against other tables in a variety of games to round-up as many rhinestones as possible.

Join the Wood County District Public Library to meet award-winning author and illustrator Micha Archer on July 14 at 2 p.m. in the Bowling Green library Atrium. Archer is book, “Wonder Walkers,” is part of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library book collection.

Women Enriching Lives (WEL) is hosting Jeff Jena Comedy Night with Friends on June 22 at the Sorg Opera House, 63 S. Main St., Middletown. Proceeds from the event will benefit Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library that brings early literacy to local children.

We are taking over WKLM FM 95.3 and raising money for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library! A $26 donation will sponsor a child for an entire year! In Holmes County we currently have 1,564 children enrolled in this amazing program!!

The family-friendly event promises an evening of fun and philanthropy. Teams will embark on a scavenger hunt filled with book-themed clues scattered across various downtown businesses. As they solve each clue, they’ll explore downtown Marietta and visit local businesses. Plus, whether the team solves all the clues or not, they’ll be entered into a raffle for exciting prizes! All registered teams will be automatically entered to win a prize, and those who successfully complete the scavenger hunt will be eligible for a chance to win $250 in Marietta Bucks.
