Dolly meant so much to so many people, but to many children, she was known as the Book Lady. Her program, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, mails a monthly age-appropriate book to
over 432,000 children in Ohio at no cost to participating families.

This is made possible by generous support from the Ohio General Assembly, local program partners, corporations, foundations, and donors like you.

Together, we can carry Dolly's legacy forward, one child and one book at a time. A $31 donation sponsors one child for a full year, delivering 12 high-quality, age-appropriate books right to their home.

“My kindergartener is reading at a 4th grade level, and I don’t have a doubt in my mind that these books started the love of reading for her!! Thank you for this amazing program!”
