2024 Annual Report
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Ohio announced the release of Ohio’s Imagination Library 2024 Annual Report. The report highlights the many milestones and projects completed this year.
“Thanks to our Legislators, our donors and volunteers, our supporters and our Local Program Partners, we have reached unprecedented success,” said Barbara Mills, Board Chair for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Ohio. “Ohio has more kids enrolled in the Imagination Library than any other state in the country!”
Other major accomplishments in 2024 include:
A monthly delivery to over 410,000 children. Ohio has more children enrolled in the Imagination Library than any other state.
Through a new partnership with the Ohio Department of Children and Youth, children under the age of five in Ohio’s foster care and kinship care have been automatically enrolled to receive a monthly book delivery. This partnership helps to ensure addresses remain up to date, and personal information remains confidential.
Ohio was selected by The Dollywood Foundation as one of five states to offer a complete bilingual English/ Spanish book collection to children.
16 new Storybook Trails have been built at rest areas and welcome centers in Ohio thanks to a partnership with the Ohio Department of Transportation.
10 Women, Infant and Children (WIC) clinics opened reading spaces for visitors to enjoy thanks to a partnership with the Ohio Department of Health.
