Drive with Dolly!

Ohio First Lady Fran DeWine today announced the availability of Ohio’s newest specialty license plate featuring country music superstar Dolly Parton. The license plate supports Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Ohio, and is now available for purchase.

“I’m excited to see Ohio as the second state to offer a specialty Dolly Parton license plate to support her program, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, in Ohio,” said Ohio First Lady Fran DeWine. “With each purchase, $25 will go back to supporting the local program, helping to ensure the program remains available to all families in Ohio.”

The Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library license plate is available to purchase in-person at any deputy registrar license agency or online at OPLATES.com. To find the closest deputy registrar license agency, visit: publicsafety.ohio.gov/local-office

With each purchase of a specialty license plate, $25 will go towards Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Ohio, specifically benefiting the county’s local program where the plate was purchased. Each plate will help to financially support the cost of mailing one child’s books for an entire year (12 total books).

Ohio is the second state to offer a specialty Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library license plate, featuring a picture of Dolly Parton. Dolly’s home state, Tennessee, was the first state to offer the license plate.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Ohio is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to putting more books into the hands of Ohio’s children. Any child between the ages of birth to five years old in Ohio can sign up to receive a monthly book delivery at no cost to families. Thanks to funding from the Ohio General Assembly, and over 75 local program partners, the program is free to all families.
