Join the Wood County District Public Library to meet award-winning author and illustrator Micha Archer on July 14 at 2 p.m. in the Bowling Green library Atrium.

Archer will talk about her work and sign books. She works in oil, watercolors, pen, ink and collage to create layered pieces for children’s books. Books she’s worked on include “Lola’s Fandango,” “The Wise Fool,” Ezra Jack Keats-award winning “Daniel Finds a Poem,” “Around the World in a Bathtub,” “Girl Running” and the Caldecott Award-winning “Wonder Walkers.”

“Wonder Walkers” has also been featured in the 2024 Dolly Parton Imagination Library Blue Ribbon selection list.

La Conexión will join this event to have students share “Wonder Walkers” in Spanish.
