Bilingual Collection Available
(COLUMBUS, Ohio)— Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Ohio announced a new feature available to all families in Ohio: a 100% bilingual English/ Spanish book collection. Families can choose between two collections of Imagination Library books: a primarily English book collection with several bilingual English/ Spanish books, or a complete bilingual English/ Spanish book collection.
Caregivers looking to update their child’s current account to the new bilingual English/ Spanish book collection should log into the Imagination Library’s parent portal at: imaginationlibrary.com/bos.
Caregivers looking to begin their child’s monthly book delivery can visit ohioimaginationlibrary.org to sign up. When enrolling, caregivers can select the preferred book language.
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Ohio mails children one age-appropriate book each month until the child’s fifth birthday. All children between the ages of birth and five years old in Ohio can sign up at no cost.
Books included in Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library’s collections are selected by the Dollywood Foundation’s Blue Ribbon Book Selection Committee, a specifically selected panel of early childhood literacy experts. Each book is age-appropriate for the child receiving it.
Since 1995, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library has always been dedicated to inspiring children to dream more and learn more. By providing a free monthly book to children from birth to age five, the program instills a lifelong love of reading.
In Ohio, 404,234 children are currently registered and receiving a monthly book delivery from Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Ohio. This totals to 61% of the state’s eligible population.
